Drake’s Latest Album “Scorpio” Breaks Records For Most Weeks At Number 1

Drake is number one! According to new reports, the rapper, Drake, just finished up his third week at Number 1 on the Billboard 200 with his latest release, Scorpio. The charting company released the news today, Sunday, July 29th.

Billboard revealed that the album sold 184,000 copies in its latest week, and 15,000 of those were traditional CD sales. If Drake continues on his path, his album will spend an entire month at Number 1 on the Billboard 200.

Drake has now broken the biggest record; he has spent more time in the number one spot than any other artist in recorded history. The last time an album did similarly well was his own record, Views, which came out in 2016.

Moreover, that means that Drake has been in the top spot, in total, for 25 weeks. In other words, Drake has had an album at the number one spot for 25 weeks, including all of his past releases and their relevant charting history.

As it was previously reported, Drake bumped Post-Malone out of the top spot earlier. Post just released his record as well, beerbongs and Bentleys, which streamed over 500,000,000 times.

While Drake has been on top of the world lately, the rapper faced a number of different controversies before the release ofScorpio. His fellow rapper, Pusha-T, made fun of Drake with a picture of the Toronto native wearing blackface, as a white person.

In the photograph, Drake had his skin colored white and donned blackface, an attempt to highlight the way that black people are treated in the entertainment industry. The idea is that Hollywood refuses to give people of colour roles that don’t match their stereotype.

Ex-INEC Chairman, Jega attacks politicians

The ex-INEC boss spoke at a lecture titled, ‘Democracy and the Challenges of Nation Building in Africa,’ for participants of the Executive Intelligence Management Course at the Institute for Security Studies, Abuja. Jega stressed that such attitude was not good for the country and its people. According to Jega, “In most African countries, certainly it is true also here in Nigeria, many politicians spend a lot of time trying to win an election and very little time comparatively in preparing for what they would do when they come into office. “The best of them will now only begin to appoint a committee, an advisory committee to prepare for them what to do after they have been elected. “Frankly, for me, this is a major challenge of leadership all over Africa, but most especially for us here in Nigeria. “If you want to be elected, you have to be very clear from the beginning on what you want to do for the people and you should hit the ground running from day one. “If leade...
